The beach of El Confital and its bay are a Special Area of Conservation of the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, capital of the island of Gran Canaria. The beach of El Confital and that of Las Canteras are joined together by a promenade with spectacular views. If you intend to spend several days in the city, a walk along these two beaches is one of the essential things to see in Las Palmas, El Confital is close to the districts of La Isleta and Las Coloradas.
The beach is reachable on foot and by car. If you have the possibility, you can also reach it by bike. However, it is good to know that the road for the car is a dirt road. For pedestrians there is a beautiful walk along the coast with view on the whole beach of El Confital.
